Ski resort SKI MAKOV stretches along the territory of the Protected Land Area Kysuce, which includes the mountain chains of Javorniky, Turzovska uplands, Kysucke Beskydy, and Kysucka uplands. Just in the immediate neighborhood on the Czech Republic territory, there is another Protected Land Area Beskydy. Both PLA's offer a solid network of tourist footpaths, beautiful natural sceneries, and many opportunities for passive and active relax.
